Hotel
For generations, we have been welcoming guests from all over the world to the Hotel Tschuggen and offering them personalised service in a family atmosphere. Our charming chalet hotel is centrally located in Grindelwald and has 15 individually designed rooms. We attach great importance to regional ties, which is reflected in our breakfast with local specialities and homemade Birchermüesli. The proximity to the railway station and the First Railway gives our guests easy access to the many activities that Grindelwald has to offer.
History
Built around 1876, the Chalet Haus an Stotzhalten in the centre of Grindelwald was a farmhouse.
In 1968, the house was converted into a hotel by Christian and Dora Bernet.
In 1994, Monika and Robert Ganzoni-Bernet took over the hotel in the 2nd generation and retired after 30 years at Tschuggen. They can still be found in the hotel on a daily basis.
Christoph Bernet (Monika's brother) took over the management of the hotel in summer 2023.
